Used containers

We always have some used standard and special containers in stock, as they can be a cost-effective alternative to new units. It depends on what you are looking for. We know: the sturdy and robust construction of the container makes it surprisingly long lasting.

Special containers like multi door or mini containers are rarely available in used condition, since their numbers are minuscule among the global container fleet. Whoever gets hands on our side door or mini containers, for example, will not be willing to give it back in a hurry. Whoever gets their hands on a 20 side door container is not likely to let it go again. If you are looking for a used container, please get in touch!

Areas of use

There are many instances where using a brand new container would bad investment when actually a used container would be enough. Do you need a noise barrier for a construction site? Do you need a simple storage container? Do you want to fill the container and send it on a one-way trip overseas? If the answer is yes, a used container might be just what you are looking for.

Used containers are not suitable for remodeling and expansion. It just takes too much time to rid them of their dents and bumps. In this case you are better off buying a new unit.

Back from an around the world trip

After its time at sea, a container still has many good years left. Many former sea containers are used in inland transport or storage for another 10 years. If they are taken care of, they can last even longer. When it comes to used containers, we offer a wide array of different years of constructions and types.

Container conditions

While we can guarantee a consistently high quality for our new containers, the conditions of used equipment can vary greatly. They have, after all, spent their fair share of years out at sea.

Cargo worthy
The container has a valid CSC plate and may be used in international sea transport.
Wind and Watertight
The container may not be usable for international transport but is still suitable for storage.
As Is
The used containers condition has either not been checked or the container is damaged. This is the most economical option, if you do not mind doing repairs yourself or if the state of the container does not matter.
