iCON International Container Service GmbH is the new sponsor of TSG Bergedorf Football Club – Hamburg Swans

In spring this year, we received an enquiry from the head of the American football department at TSG Bergedorf, Mr Kai Abel. He was looking for secure storage space to keep the football department's equipment close to the training grounds. iCON Container had already found solutions for similar cases in the past and immediately took on the task. The decision was made to use a mini-container, a 10'DV Container with a capacity of 16 cubic metres.

We are delighted that the collaboration between the club and our company has now developed into a partnership – and that iCON Container has become the official sponsor of TSG Bergedorf Football Club.

As a Hanseatic company with roots in Hamburg, it is particularly important to us to support local initiatives and clubs – especially when they are as passionate about sport, community and promoting young talent as TSG Bergedorf. The football department of TSG, better known as the ‘Hamburg Swans’ they stand for team spirit, fairness and perseverance – values with which we at iCON fully identify.

With the container we have provided, we want to give the club not only practical space for organization and logistics but also send a clear signal of our support. Especially in sports such as American football, where a large number of helmets, pads, balls and other equipment is required, reliable storage solutions are a real plus for the smooth running of training and match operations.

The new storage container is now located directly on the training grounds of the Hamburg Swans and is already in use. We wish the entire team every success for the coming season and are delighted to be part of this exciting journey.
