The 40 ft flat rack container
The 40 ft flat rack Container is the largest container in our flat rack Container portfolio.
- The container has no sidewalls and no roof.
- The front walls are either solid or foldable / collapsible. Folded, the container can be transported with minimum space requirements. This makes the container especially useful for oversized goods that still need to be loaded onto a container ship or container chassis.
- Like the ISO containers, the 40 ft flat rack is equipped with corner castings on all eight corners. This way it can be moved like other containers.
- The variant shown here has fixed ends (walls) and a wooden floor. If you need to move heavier loads, we can also recommend the steel floor variant with a significantly higher payload.
- The end walls would also be available in the space-saving variant, so-called collapsible ends.

The container is usually sold in mint condition. However, this does include the shipment from Far East. This means small signs of usage and staining may occur.
