At first glance, high cube containers hardly differ from standard containers. The decisive difference lies in their height: a high cube container is around 30 cm taller than a standard model. This means more interior space, more storage space and thus greater efficiency for many applications.

Whether for storage, transport or special applications, high cube containers create additional space where every centimetre counts.

What is a high cube container?

A standard container has an external height of approx. 2,591 mm.

A high cube container, on the other hand, measures approx. 2,896 mm in height. This results in more loading volume without requiring more floor space.

Thanks to the additional height, even oversized goods can be stowed safely or stacked in a particularly space-saving manner. For many companies, this is the more economical alternative to special solutions.

Important note: Special feature of the 40' High Cube Side Door Container

The 40-foot High Cube Side Door Container has a special technical feature: The side door is significantly heavier than a standard door. Therefore, the floor must be reinforced. This means that the interior floor is slightly higher than in other high cube containers, which slightly reduces the effective interior space.
