Thanks to their standardized dimensions (usually 20 feet or 40 feet), they can be stacked efficiently, transported, and used in a variety of ways. Sea containers are true all-rounders and are suitable for use as storage space, mobile rooms, or for the international transport of goods.

Differences:
standard height or high cube?
A classic shipping container has an (external) height of approx. 2.59 m. For goods with a larger volume, a high cube container with a height of 2.89 m (external) is recommended. These additional 30 cm make a big difference when loading and offer more flexibility.

Standardized or special containers?
Sea containers comply with international standards (ISO), which means they can be used worldwide. In addition to standard variants, there are also special containers such as open-top, flat rack, or side door containers, which are designed for special loads.
